Splendors of Liangxi at Wuxi Museum
In celebration of the tenth anniversary of the opening of its new building, Wuxi Museum is hosting a special exhibition called “Splendors of Liangxi (梁溪折桂)”. Liangxi, or the Liang Stream, is a river that runs across Wuxi and connects Lake Tai with the Grand Canal. Situated on the northeastern border of Lake Tai, Wuxi, like its neighbor Suzhou, is a famous water town of the Jiangnan (South of the Yangtze River) region. It is home to many artists throughout Chinese history, such as Gu Kaizhi and Ni Zan.
This exhibition is through January 8, 2019. Wuxi Museum is closed on Mondays.
